Masaya Mizushima is a Managing Director at Nomura Greentech.

Based in New York, Masaya has over 17 years of experience in Japan investment banking and has advised a wide range of clients with an established background in cross border M&A.

His transaction experience includes advising Pattern Energy on its divestment of Green Power Investment in Japan to JERA and NTT Anode Energy, advising KDDI on its investment in Skydio, advising Oishii Farm on its capital raise, advising SoftBank Group on its divesture of SB Energy in Japan, advising Diamond Generating Corp on Nexamp’s capital raise led by Manulife, advising Chow Energy, T-Solar, and X-ELIO on its divestment of its Japan solar portfolio, advising Tokai Carbon on its acquisition of COBEX.

Masaya has spent his whole career in investment banking at Nomura. Masaya holds an MBA from The University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Waseda University.
